FINALLY! Alrighty, to those who have WINDOWS 7 are having problems I have the solution now for the profile problem *note this is how it was on my pc, I have no clue if it will be different or similar on y'alls*:

1.Go to your start menu n type in hidden
2.On the pop-up menu check on "show hidden folders"
3.Go to your C drive (or whatever is your main)
4.Go to Users
5.Go to your screen name PLAIN! Not the "Mcx1-sn" And if you see an AppData folder in the users folder (on my PC I had one) THAT'S NOT THE APPDATA U WANT!
6.Once you opened you sn folder, it is here where you'll see an AppData folder with the folder being semi transparent (due to the fact that it was hidden)
7.Open that shit up, open LOCAL! NOT LocalLow!
8.Look for Activision and open
9.Open CodWaW>Players>Profiles
10. You'll see a bunch of gay ass profiles (at least I did) DELETE THEM ALL!
11. Follow Sid's directions (you don't have to put in his sn, hell put spidermonkey for all I care)
12. When you start up WaW, look to the top right corner and you'll see your sn in the profile!

If you have problems with the PROFILE PROBLEM, go ahead msg me or something. If its not related to the profile thing, I have no clue how to fix it sorry. Do research.

Thanks to the internet, no thanks to the people who said "Works great on Windows 7."

I surprised no one placed a legitimate in depth explanation for how to fix this for Windows 7... other than @Jokicuro but even his explanation didn't really help. Here is what I have attempted:
1. For some reason in my appdata folder, I did not have a Local folder; I made one, did what @Jokicuro said. No Success
2. I tried placing the Activision folder with the profiles into my Saved Games folder via C:/Users/"SN"/Saved Games. I assumed this b/c this is where some of my other saved games went i.e. AC: Brotherhood & Crysis2. No success
2b. I thought the Activision folder might be a problem, so I took out the CoDWaW folder out onto the same place as the Activision. No success
3. Tried placing the Activision folder and also just the CodWaw folder into the game folder via C:/Program Files (x86)/Activision/Call of Duty - World at War/(thought maybe this is where they keep the profiles). No success
4. Tried to launch the game twice. No success
5. Tried changing the properties of the program to compatibility w/ Vista SP1 & 2. No success

I want to get my WW2 fix...how are the people w/ windows 7 getting it to work? What are your directory for the profiles EXACTLY located?
